1. Specification selection

2. Power selection
The maximum power output of a motor is limited. If the power selection of a brushless motor is too small and the load exceeds the rated output power, motor overload will occur. During overload, phenomena such as motor heating, vibration, speed decrease, and abnormal sound will occur. In severe overload, the motor will be burned out. Excessive power can result in economic waste. Therefore, it is important to choose the power of the motor reasonably.
3. Type selection
It is advisable to prioritize the use of high-efficiency, inexpensive, and low temperature rise ferrite permanent magnet DC brushless motors. Aluminum nickel cobalt permanent magnet DC motor or rare earth permanent magnet DC motor should only be considered when strict performance requirements, small size, and high ambient temperature are required.
