What does DC brushless motor mean.

A brushless DC motor is a type of electric motor that does not have an external pulley mechanism to synchronize. It is an irreversible motor that can wirelessly control and adjust motor speed, affect motor output torque, and can also be used as a servo motor.  

As a commonly used electromechanical integration device, brushless DC motor equipment is composed of an electric motor and a driver. The stator winding of the electric motor is mostly made into a three-phase symmetrical star connection, which is very similar to three-phase asynchronous motors. A magnetized permanent magnet is attached to the rotor of the electric motor. In order to detect the polarity of the motor rotor, a position sensor is installed inside the motor. The driver is composed of power electronic devices and integrated circuits.

The main function is to receive the start, stop, and brake signals of the motor to control the start, stop, and brake of the motor, receive position sensor signals and forward and reverse rotation signals to control the on/off of various power tubes in the inverter bridge, generate continuous torque, receive speed commands and speed feedback signals to control and adjust the speed, provide protection and display, etc.
