What are the benefits of using brushless motors.
A brushless motor refers to a brushless DC motor composed of an electric motor, its main body, and a driver, which is a typical electromechanical integrated product. Due to the self controlled operation of brushless DC motors, they do not require additional starting windings on the rotor like synchronous motors that start under heavy loads under variable frequency speed regulation, nor do they produce oscillations and loss of step during sudden load changes.

The permanent magnets of small and medium-sized brushless DC motors now mostly use high energy product rare earth neodymium iron boron materials. Therefore, the volume of rare earth permanent magnet brushless motors is reduced by one frame size compared to three-phase asynchronous motors of the same capacity.
Scope of application:
Brushless motor: It is usually used in equipment with high control requirements and high speed, such as aircraft models, precision instruments and meters, which strictly control the motor speed and achieve high speed.
Service life: Brushless motor: The typical service life is in the order of tens of thousands of hours, but due to different bearings, the service life of brushless motors also varies greatly.
Usage effect: Brushless motor: usually controlled by digital frequency conversion, with strong controllability. It can easily achieve speeds ranging from a few revolutions per minute to tens of thousands of revolutions per minute.
Energy saving aspect: Relatively speaking, brushless motors controlled by frequency conversion technology will save much more energy than series motors, the most typical of which are frequency conversion air conditioners and refrigerators.
In terms of future maintenance, carbon brush motors need to have their carbon brushes replaced. Failure to replace them in a timely manner can cause damage to the motor, while brushless motors have a long service life, usually more than 10 times that of brushed motors. However, if they break down, the motor needs to be replaced, but daily maintenance is basically not necessary. The noise aspect is not related to whether there is a brushed motor, but mainly depends on the fit between the bearings and the internal components of the motor.
The parameter indicators of a model brushless motor, in addition to external dimensions (outer diameter, length, shaft diameter, etc.), weight, voltage range, no-load current, maximum current, etc., also include an important indicator - KV value, which is a unique performance parameter of brushless motors and an important data for judging their performance characteristics.
