Understand the defects in the operation of brushless DC motors.
In order to further understand the defects in the operation of DC brushless motors, inspection and testing can be conducted before disassembly when conditions permit. Therefore, load the DC brushless motor for trial operation, carefully check the temperature, sound, vibration, and other conditions of each part of the DC brushless motor, and test the voltage, current, speed, etc. Then disconnect the load, conduct no-load inspection tests separately, measure the no-load current and no-load loss, and make records.

Do this before disassembling the brushless DC motor
1. Before disassembly, check the appearance integrity of the DC brushless motor, then use compressed air to blow off the dust on the surface of the DC brushless motor and wipe off the surface dirt.
2. Choose a workplace for disassembling brushless DC motors and clean up the on-site environment.
3. Familiar with the structural characteristics and maintenance technical requirements of brushless DC motors.
4. Prepare specialized tools and equipment required for disassembly.
5. Cut off the power, remove the external wiring of the DC brushless motor, and make a record.
6. Choose a multimeter to test the insulation resistance of a brushless DC motor. In order to compare the insulation resistance values measured during the last major overhaul and determine the insulation change trend and insulation status of the DC brushless motor, the insulation resistance values measured at different temperatures should be converted to the same temperature, generally 75 ℃.
7. Test absorption rate k. When the absorption rate is greater than 1.33, it indicates that the insulation of the DC brushless motor is not affected by moisture or the degree of moisture is not severe. In order to compare with previous data, the absorbance measured at any temperature should also be converted to the same temperature.
8. After checking all the issues, handle the problems found, reassemble them completely, and run the inspection.
