The difference between traditional brushed DC motors and brushless DC motors.
Traditional brushed DC motors and brushless DC motors are powered by DC, but the difference is that brushless DC motors use reversible drive circuits instead of brushes and commutators. The rotor is the magnetic pole, the stator is the armature, and the driver reverses the current in the stator winding, similar to an AC induction motor.
The commutation of traditional brushed DC motors has always been achieved through the contact between graphite brushes and annular commutators installed on the rotor. The brushless DC motor feeds back the rotor position to the control circuit through a Hall sensor, allowing it to obtain the accurate time of motor phase reversal. Most brushless motor manufacturers produce motors with three Hall effect positioning sensors.
