How to calculate the torque of a brushless DC motor.
DC brushless motor is a type of brushless motor among DC motors. It, like other types of motors, has these related factors: motor power, transmission ratio, speed, voltage, current, and torque.
When we are looking for a brushless DC motor, if we don't know how much power or torque to choose. On the one hand, we can communicate with technicians from brushless motor manufacturers to request assistance in selecting the appropriate model. On the one hand, we can also calculate it ourselves through the torque formula. The torque of a brushless DC motor can be calculated.
We have studied physics knowledge, and torque in physics refers to the tendency of a force to cause an object to rotate around an axis or pivot. The unit of torque is Newton meter (N.M). The Greek letter for torque is T. The concept of torque originated from Archimedes' study of levers. The rotational torque is also known as torque or torque. Torque can cause an object to change its rotational motion, while torsion involves torque.
Brushless motors are mainly used to generate driving torque and serve as power sources for electrical appliances or various machinery. Their main function is to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. Therefore, according to the definition formula of Aki torque, it can be calculated. That is, torque (T)=power (P) * 9.55/revolution (N), or the conversion factor can also be as follows: T * revolution/9.55=power. We won't use the DC brushless motor of Tengchi as an example to demonstrate it to everyone.
For example, when we choose a DC brushless motor with a power of 1000W and a motor speed of 3000 revolutions per minute, we have 1000 * 9.55/3000=3.18NM., or when we know the torque T of the brushless motor and require power, we can say: 3.18NM * 3000/9.55 ≈ 1000W. This is the formula for calculating the torque of a brushless DC motor. Different types of motors have different calculation formulas for torque, such as the torque calculation formula T=9550 * P/N for ordinary asynchronous motors. Everyone must pay attention to distinguishing them.
Usually, some users say that brushless DC motors and stepper motors look too similar. Can they be used interchangeably? In fact, brushless motors and stepper motors are only similar in appearance, and there are many differences in their principles.
