Brushless DC motors are widely used in industries such as artificial intelligence, automotive, medical equipment, and industrial automation due to their long lifespan, low noise, and high torque. It is very important to choose brushless motors to meet the performance requirements of the product due to their different specifications and types. High efficiency, low price, and low-temperature ferrite permanent magnet DC motors are given priority consideration. Aluminum nickel cobalt permanent magnet DC motors or rare earth permanent magnet DC motors should only be considered when performance requirements are strict, the volume is small, and the ambient temperature is high.
When the power supply voltage is adjustable, the DC motor specifications with torque and speed close to the corresponding rated values of the product can be selected according to actual needs, and the required speed can be obtained by changing the voltage; In the case of a fixed power supply voltage, if there is no suitable brushless motor to choose from, the appropriate specifications can be selected according to the torque, and the voltage and speed of the product can be adjusted appropriately.
The maximum power output of the motor is limited. If the power selection of the brushless motor (BLDC) is too small, motor overload will occur when the load exceeds the rated output power. When the motor is overloaded, phenomena such as heating, vibration, deceleration, and abnormal noise may occur. When the motor is severely overloaded, it will burn out. If the power is too high, it will cause economic waste. Therefore, it is very important to choose the power of the motor reasonably.
