How to customize a brushless motor?

In the brushless motor industry, there are three main types of brushless motors, such as inner rotor brushless motors, outer rotor brushless motors, and hollow cup brushless motors. There are hundreds of options available within 4-80mm, which are applied in various high-tech fields such as medical equipment, robots, drones, financial equipment, and smart homes.

For brushless motors, they can be divided into small customization, semi customization, and full customization. Choose from the existing 4-80mm brushless motor models, select the motor that meets your needs, change the performance requirements of the motor, and belong to the small customization type. It can be completed within 3-5 days.

The semi customized methods are more diverse, such as not only customizing the required motor performance, but also making changes to the output shaft, control board encoder method, assembly screw hole size and position, and adding external component coordination on the original model. It can be considered as a semi customized product, which takes about 7-15 days to produce.

Fully customized brushless motors are much more complex, from testing various components on design drawings, 3D model performance testing, negotiating procurement with various component suppliers, to finished product assembly testing, secondary testing and modification issues, before they can be produced into finished products, which usually takes 1-2 months. This not only takes a long time, but also costs a lot of money. From design to sample machining, to requiring batch mold making, the cost is many times higher than small customization and semi customization. The only advantage is that this product belongs to you and is unique in the market.
