Characteristics and advantages of brushless motors.
A brushless motor is composed of an electric motor body and a driver. As the brushless motor operates in a self controlled manner, it does not require the use of variable frequency speed regulation to add a starting winding to the rotor of a heavy-duty starting motor, nor does it produce oscillations or loss of step due to sudden load changes. Compared to brushed motors, brushless motors have many advantages.

Characteristics of brushless motors:
1. A motor that uses electronic commutation and has DC external characteristics is called a brushless motor. Due to the emergence of brushless motors, the strict boundary between AC and DC speed regulation systems has been broken.
2. The power of a brushless DC motor is provided in DC mode. According to the method of obtaining DC power, there are two main implementation methods for brushless DC motors: AC-DC-AC control system and DC-AC control system, commonly known as square wave.
3. The AC commutation brushless motor uses thyristors. The frequency converter directly converts 50Hz AC power into AC power, and its frequency varies with the rotor to provide to the motor. Its speed regulation characteristics are also similar to DC motors. At this point, the input of the electric motor is a sine wave.
Advantages of brushless motors:
1. High efficiency: BLDC motors have no brush friction and can achieve efficient conversion, making them more energy-efficient than traditional brushed DC motors.
2. High precision: BLDC motors use digital control technology to accurately control the motor's speed and direction, making them suitable for high-precision applications.
3. High reliability: BLDC motors have high reliability and long lifespan due to the absence of brushes and brush rings, which prevent faults caused by brush wear.
4. Better speed and torque characteristics.
5. Low noise: BLDC motors have no noise from brush friction and commutation current, so the noise level is very low.
6. Wear free and easy to maintain: BLDC motors do not require regular replacement of brushes and brush rings, resulting in low maintenance costs.
