What is a BLDC motor? What is the relationship with brushless DC motors?
Many customers who call for consultation often mention that when they use some foreign motors, there are many words printed on the body of the motor, such as BLDC or BLDCmotor. It is not clear what this means. Now, Jin Yuan will introduce what BLDC motor is.
BLDC stands for Brushless Direct Current Motor in English, which means
brushless DC motor. Direct understanding means there is no need for brushes, no need for electric brushes to turn, which eliminates the need for brushes and simplifies the structure, which is fundamentally different from brush motors.
BLDC motors are mainly composed of rotor (permanent magnet material) - stator (coil winding) and Hall (inductive or non inductive).
Over the years, research on variable frequency speed regulation of asynchronous motors has been based on methods for controlling the torque of asynchronous motors. Rare earth permanent magnet brushless DC motors must have wide speed, small size, high efficiency, and steady-state speed, with small errors and other characteristics showing advantages in the field of speed regulation.
Due to the characteristics of a brushless DC motor and a frequency converter, it is also known as a DC frequency converter, and the international common term is BLDC. Many people are also accustomed to calling it BLDC motor or BLDC motor.
Actually, BLDC motors are also brushless DC motors, they are just different names.
